What is IAG?

-Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) is a broad term describing the support given to people to help them make decisions about their future in relation to their careers. 

-Information, Advice and Guidance is a key element in the work of MyCareer Focus. It is an umbrella term. It covers a range of activities and interventions that help you to become more self-empowered and better able to manage your career development.

IAG includes:

- The provision of accurate, up to date and objective information about personal and lifestyle issues, learning and career opportunities, progression routes, choices, where to find help and advice, and how to access it

- The provision of advice through videos and webinars and one to one sessions helps you to gather, understand and interpret information and apply it to your own situation

- The provision of impartial guidance and specialist support to help you understand your current situation and where you need to go next also develops new perspectives and helps you make progress.
